Dr. Asif M Kadri Founded the Diabetes foundation in 2009 with a mission statement that goes like this “Diabetes Foundation of Pakistan aims at providing every possible help to the patients of Diabetes Mellitus in leading a healthy, complication-free, productive and meaningful life with their disease, and to facilitate access of the patients to medical treatment of their disease and also to any possible remedy for cure as it evolves. We want to see this world free of suffering and morbidity from this disease”
Diabetes Foundation is actively involved in health education of persons with Diabetes through booklets and pamphlets, through public awareness seminars and workshops and also through media campaigns. It has contributed its fair share to the education of health professionals involved in diabetes care through seminars and workshops, and is currently involved also in many indigenous medical research projects.

Hamza Foundation in a non-profit Social Welfare Organization and runs five primary care hospitals on charity basis with Diabetic Clinics at at all of them.
Dr. Asif Mahmood Kadri looked after all these hospitals as a consultant diabetologist where he was involved directly in patient care,and played a significant role in hormonizing the clinical protocols with IDF guidelines . He initiated new facilities like Diabetic Kidney Clinic, Metabolic Clinic and a Research department also at the Pakki Thatti Center
